Servicing Members

The Trustees want members to engage in self select investments with the support of regulated financial advice.  This is formalized by having a dedicated Personal Accounts section with access to a wider range of funds only available if a financial adviser has signed up to support the Member’s application. Using this online application Financial Advisers that are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) can submit an application to manage their client’s investment strategy.

Before starting this application you will need the following:

Money Laundering

  • Proof of Identification –  scanned copy of your client’s passport, or UK Driving License
  • Proof of Address - the address must be your client’s permanent residence. If the client has moved address in the past 12 months, we will also require your previous private address(es).

Transferring additional pension pots to SuperTrust

  • Policy Number or Previous Scheme's Member ID - you will need to obtain the unique identifier from transferring pension providers.
  • Valuation Statement – we will require a valuation statement from the individual’s previous pension provider, detailing the expected transfer value.

Investment Strategy

You need to be clear on the investment options available to a member within the SuperTrust UK Master Trust before starting this application.

Adviser Charging

For advice to a member on their pension arrangements, you are able to apply a charge to the member’s Net Asset Value on a one-off and/or ongoing basis. This is only available for advisors regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority providing advice direct to the member solely concerning their pension arrangements. This is not available in respect of advice provided to employers.

Get your client’s sign off

After submitting your application in your capacity as an Adviser regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority your client must complete their ‘Member Acceptance Declaration’ before your application has been processed. You client will receive an email to e-sign their declaration.

Please ensure you check this has been received.

Make sure we confirm our acceptance

Your application will only be actioned once we have confirmed it has been accepted. If you have received no response within ten days please contact Adviser Support advisersupport@supertrust.co.uk for a status update.
